Scrum Team Fundamentals PDF Print E-mail

Duration

2 day course

Format

Hands on, experiential workshop with brief lecture, group exercises and discussion

Purpose

To share knowledge and experience the fundamentals of Scrum and Agile.

Scrum is a simple framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems, while productively and creatively delivering products of the highest possible value. Scrum is lightweight, simple to understand, and extremely difficult to master.

The best way to learn is by doing. This course will take the students through a journey of understanding by doing. During the class, students will form teams to deliver a project. The teams will craft a vision, develop a list of wanted features, and order the features to maximize value. The team will learn and practice estimation, planning, and delivery of a non-software project.
